Great oversized, belted military style coat.

Marc By Marc Jacobs Fall 2010

I am in love with the new fall line , Marc By Marc Jacobs, for fall 2010. It has a combination of neutrals, with slight pops of color. There is a military influence, seen to give it a sweet, and structured feel. Marc Jacobs seems to really know what a modern, chic woman wants, see the whole collection on elle.com (link below). Tell me what you think of the line, or other lines for ready to wear fall 2010.

Organization

The Key to being a fashionista, is having an organized closet. I know if my family is reading this they are probably thinking are you sick? Your closet is always a mess. Thus, is the reason I finally color- coordinated it. Now if I am looking for a specific piece in the morning I can find it quickly, and without ravaging my whole closet to find it making a larger mess. Does any one else have any fab ideas for organizing one's closet?

Inspiration:

I am in love with oversized belted jackets in neutral colors for fall. Whether its a traditional trench, or its a little more modern like the coat seen  above featured in Marie Claire this month, rock it with a belt or a tie waist. The color seen below the coat (a muted mustard) is also a color that is flattering on a variety of skin tones as well.

My Fashion Philosophy:

Trends to me are somewhat pointless. Wear what you like, and what flatters your body type. Just because it is the newest look on the catwalk doesn't mean it is right for you. For any body type belts are a great way to give yourself a waist in a looser fit item. Loose dresses and tops are in,but if you have any sort of curve it could be unflattering. Just pair a belt with pieces like this. It is most flattering around the smallest point of your waist.
